What? For one-two people to learn how to manipulate molten glass into your own beautiful pieces with an experienced glassblower.
How? This three-hour workshop offers a fantastic opportunity to discover traditional Venetian techniques used in hot glass studios. No experience necessary.
Anything else?
Wear loose comfortable clothes, covered in shoes & long hair tied back.
The course covers equipment, tools, OH&S and proper working procedures used in the glassblowing studio. Gathering, marvering and shaping of molten glass, and correct tool usage will be taught and demonstrated.
Colour-application techniques will also be introduced with guests choosing and applying their own colour combinations. All materials, tools and glass are provided. Over the duration of the workshop participants will have the opportunity to complete two individual paperweights and a tumbler that will be available to take home the following week.

2 weeks prior to scheduled workshop – a 50% refund issued on cancellation.
